Statement of Intent
For my print option of coursework, I will create a current affairs magazine with print cover prototypes and website prototypes. My intended target audience is young adults, 18-35 due to the modern topics and areas of news I will include in my prototypes. My target audience will likely be well-educated university students as they want to stay informed on current affairs. These students’ lifestyle will likely include creative vocations as this will match the creative and cultural news topics included. For example, my magazine will be aimed at people who are interested in art, film and TV and culture news. In my mood board, I included images of people at art galleries and socialising with friends. I also included images of protests and the Labour party as the target audience is young, liberal or left-wing people.
